The protein-rich seed bread recipe is the best bread substitute, made purely from nuts and seeds. The seed bread is vegan and gluten-free.

Ingredients:

  • 80 g linseed flour

  • 80 g chopped almonds

  • 100 g sunflower seeds

  • 50 g pumpkin seeds

  • 30 g light sesame seeds

  • 50 g whole linseed

  • 30 g ground psyllium husks

  • 30 g hemp seeds

  • 2 tsp rock salt

  • 2 tbsp virgin coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp Agni mixture , which can be enjoyed as a seasoning or as a tea.

  • 300 ml hot water

preparation

  1. Line a loaf pan with baking paper.

  2. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix coconut oil with hot water, stir into the dry ingredients and mix well. If the mixture is still too dry, add a little water.

  3. Pour the mixture into the mold and let it rest for two hours.

  4. Bake the bread at 180°C with top and bottom heat for 40 minutes, remove from the tin and bake on baking paper for a further 20 minutes.

  5. Allow the bread to cool completely before cutting it.

My dosha tip: The bread is suitable for all doshas. From an Ayurvedic perspective, it is a bread that goes well with animal proteins, such as a breakfast egg, but also with spreads, butter or jam. In Ayurveda, traditional bread is considered difficult to digest. Spices and plants can support the digestive process.
