Hummus (chickpea spread)

Ingredients for 4 persons:

200 g chickpeas from a jar

2 tbsp sesame paste – tahina

Juice of one lemon

4 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

½ tsp ground cumin
-
½ tsp ground black pepper
Preparation:

Wash the chickpeas from the jar with hot water.

Blend together with the other ingredients and spices in a food processor until it forms a paste. Add a little water if necessary to make it creamier.
My dosha tip: Due to their dry properties, chickpeas are well suited for Pitta and Kapha types.
